After serving Grace Lutheran Church in West Philadelphia as a settled urban pastor from 1994-1998, Vicki expanded her ministry into the growing field of intentional interim ministry, was invited to join the faculty of the Interim Ministry Network, and has served more than ten congregations as they transitioned through processes as varied as managing the transformation from pastor-sized to program-sized, maximizing ministries following long-term pastorates, and coming to terms with a new future following pastoral misconduct.
Vicki extends her interest in assisting congregations achieve higher levels of organizational life by serving as Dean for Interim Ministry in the SEPA Synod of the ELCA, faculty and board member of the Interim Ministry Network, coach and mentor to pastors and lay leadership serving congregations in transition, assists judicatories from a wide variety of denominations in establishing Best Practices for transitional ministry, and is a workshop leader specializing in Congregational Identity.
