David Webb was ordained by the Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in 1978 and has served for over thirty years in a variety of both settled and interim positions.  He is currently serving as an Intentional Interim Minister at an ELCA church in Athens. Georgia.  He has received the PTS (Professional Transition Specialist) designation from the Interim Ministry Network.  Recently, David completed the Consultant and Facilitator training sponsored by the Center for Congregational Health and the Interim Ministry Network.

He works with transition congregations to strengthen and deepen relationships through memory, conversation, and revision. By asking questions that matter he journeys with the leadership and congregation along paths of self-study, spiritual discernment, and imagination. He has training and experience in supporting the congregation in creating and sustaining a healthy congregation emphasizing the church as a safe and sacred space.

He and his spouse Judy live and work in Athens, Georgia.  Judy is an artist and an educator of children with special needs.
