 An ecumenical and progressive 2000+ member congregation in Charlotte, NC, with a tradition in historical/liturgical worship and music, is seeking a full-time ordained and experienced Interim Senior Minister. Myers Park Baptist Church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA and the Alliance of Baptists. We are a Welcoming and Affirming church with outstanding educational, music and outreach ministries. Seminary degree and training in the Interim Minister role and responsibilities are required. Essential functions include sermon delivery, leading the congregation through the interim period and leadership change, performing congregational pastoral care and participating in the supervision of church staff. Desire is to staff the position in June 2013 (cut-off date for resumes: May 15th).
